For my 47th birthday I was gifted this lovely cookbook called Moon Juice Cookbook where I learned how to make an energizing tea called Moon Dust. 

WHAT IS MOON DUST?

"Moon Dusts® are custom blends of adaptogenic super herbs and super mushrooms that help combat the effects of stress to nourish body, beauty, and consciousness from the inside out," according to author and creator Amanda Chantal Bacon. 

So, I wondered if I could adapt and create some at home and I want to share what I found with you here today! 

How to Make Moon Dust

Buying herbs in bulk is one of the easiest ways to make your own Moon Dust. Add a teaspoon or two to coffee, mix into tea, or make your own adaptogenic matcha green tea latte. If you’re not a fan of mushrooms, I find that green smoothies make a great base for Moon Dust because the fruity flavor covers up any hint of shrooms! And since this is a stimulating combination of herbs, toss it in your morning concoction for a quick boost of energy. If you find the taste a little too strong, start with 1/4 a teaspoon in the morning and work your way up."

Energizing Moon Dust

Ingredients

Combine one level tsp each of the following ingredients and blend with water, milk or half and half. Sweeten with raw honey (or whatever you fancy!)
